WFN500021 These fuel tank cradles are extremely susceptible to rust on the Range Rover Sport and is a source of constant trouble on vehicles from 2005-2013. These are constantly on back order with Land Rover to such an extent that we’ve had this aftermarket version which directly mimics the design, look and fitment of the genuine Land Rover item.

These aren’t the easiest of parts to fit without the use of a workshop ramp however it can be done – we would suggest that the car is driven until the tank is as low as possible. Begin by removing the exhaust heat shield which will show the entirety of the cradle. This can be then unattached from the fuel tank. We suggest using cable ties to ensure the fuel tank doesn’t drop whilst the cradle is being removed. After the new cradle is attached to the vehicle you can remove these ties.
